Street Runner is excited and proud to announce that it will be one of the official sponsors of Romain Leroux, promising professional driver and current French GT4 Champion.

This agreement, in addition to the sponsorship agreement for the current season, will allow for the never seen before inclusion of a real high performance car of a pilot within the Street Runner metaverse.

We are proud to sponsor a driver with such a promising career. To be the first video game to include a driver’s car in the metaverse is unique.

— Mar Carrillo. Chief Marketing Officer of Street Runner

First professional driver’s car in the metaverse

The current French GT4 champion car, the AM Vantage GT4 of AGS Events Racing team, will be included in the game in NFT form and will be available for sale to anyone who wants to race a GT4 race car. The quantity on offer, price and release date will be announced at a later date.

I can not wait to see all the Street Runner players racing with my 2021 championship winning car in the Metaverse.

— Romain Leroux. 2021 GT4 France Champion

Romain Leroux is thus the first professional driver to introduce his car in a video game as a playable NFT and in the metaverse.

A new car category

Vehicles such as Romain Leroux’s AM Vantage GT4 will be included in a new special vehicle category dedicated exclusively to high-performance professional cars.

Sponsorship for the 2022 season

In addition to introducing his champion car from last year into our video-game, the agreement also entails the driver’s sponsorship for the new 2022 season, which will see him compete in the famous ADAC GT4 in Germany.

Street Runner logo will be present on the driver’s car and racing suit for this 2022 season, which Romain Leroux will compete for the Dorr Motorsport team in another AM Vantage GT4.

The Street Runner team is thrilled with this agreement and looks forward to Romain becoming champion again this year!

About Romain Leroux

After several years spent behind a karting wheel where Romain was able to dominate the Asian championship (ROTAX Asia Champion in 2017, Vice-Champion X30 Serie France Senior in 2019), Romain participated in the Formula 4 FFSA championship in 2020. In 2021, he joined Aston Martin’s “Young Driver Academy” (academy for young drivers of excellence) — as well as the GT4 Racing championship that he won with his co-pilot Valentin Hasse-Clot behind the wheel of an Aston Martin Vantage AMR.

One of the youngest winners of the GT4 Racing France championship, the driver already has his eyes on the future.
